The program is intended for kids aged 6-17 of all skill levels, from absolute beginner to advanced. We focus on providing participants with a fun learning environment, and presenting clear instruction of how to develop their skateboaring abilities in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Our goal is to help each participant to experience greater confidence by learning new skills, and enjoying the fun, freedom, and sense of accomplishment achieved by overcoming obstacles and pushing boundaries.

 

 

Each day of camp consists of group lessons/individual instruction, free skate time, and other games and activities. Participants will learn skills appropriate to their current ability, as well as about skatepark flow and etiquette, stretching and healthy lifestyle, equipment terminology and maintenance, and the various styles of skateboarding.

 

The cost of camp is $250/week, running from Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 4:00PM. Drop-off will be at the Funhouse in the morning (3 Hoffman st unit 3), and pick-up at the Funhouse.

 

(The option of early drop-off and late pick-up are available.)

 

Particpants are required to bring an appropriate skateboard and helmet. We also recommend additional safety gear (knee/elbow pads, wrist guards), especially for beginners. Campers are responsible for bringing their own snacks and a refillable water bottle.
